Flood protection in the Czech Republic

The Czech Republic is often confronted with floodings in various places. The Czech authorities, however, lack the tools to determine optimum protection levels and priorities.

ARCADIS has assisted with the development, introduction and application of a GIS-embedded method that is tailored to the local situation. This enables the Czech water management bodies to take control of their own flood protection issues.
